Patio Playhouse 2016 Annual Awards Banquet

Celebrate Patio Playhouse’s Golden Anniversary

Patio Playhouse Community and Youth Theater
celebrates 50 years of serving Escondido!

Escondido, CA – Patio Playhouse is thrilled be joined by the Escondido Chamber of Commerce in a ribbon cutting celebration in the afternoon on Friday, June 17. The official ceremony, attended by County Supervisor Dave Roberts, will kick off at 1pm, and is free to attendees. This event will also include the announcement of our 50th season, a presentation as we become an official partner of the Live Well program, and an Acting Academy Showcase, celebrating Patio’s talented youth campers!

Live Well San Diego is the County of San Diego's vision for a region that is Building Better Health, Living Safely and Thriving.

While you’re at the theater, pick up some information on how you can help sustain Patio for another 50 years with a Patio Playhouse Membership, or pick up your season ticket for our new 50th season – and, as a special incentive for membership, all season tickets purchased will include an additional 7th show at no additional cost!

We can’t wait to have you join us in celebrating 50 years of service through the arts to the City of Escondido!

Location: The ceremony will be at Patio Playhouse, located at 116 South Kalmia Street, Escondido (between Vinz Wine Bar and Continental Deli). This event is complimentary and will include entertainment and a sweet dessert!

About the Theater: Patio Playhouse is Escondido's only community theater. Established in 1967, Patio Playhouse is located in the heart of Escondido, and puts on a full season of entertaining, varied performances, including musicals, adult dramas and comedies, and a unique fee-free youth theater model which introduces live theatre to children through performance/crew opportunities and school performances.

Patio Playhouse is an independent, all-volunteer 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. To find out more about us, please visit www.patioplayhouse.com or find us on social media.
