William Shakespeare’s tragedy of pride, greed, lust and the frailty of the human spirit. The production will be in modern dress with contemporary sets. All roles are available, and female actors are invited to read for many traditionally male roles, including Lear. The list of characters is as follows:
King Lear – 50+ m/f

Supporting parts may be double cast. Actors may present a prepared Shakespearean monologue of three minutes or less in duration or read selections from the script. Sides will be made available at the audition.
