My main character in the show is Charlie Blossom. To say Charlie is an angry young man would be a bit of an understatement. A lot of people wonder if I'm really as psychotic as Charlie... I just laugh and tell them to go to hell before I knock them upside the head. Seriously though... I really should be put away. I do love the part. Charlie gets to say out loud what everyone else just thinks about.

I most identify with my character in the cubicle scene because that's what I actually do for a living. I sit in a cubicle and type for 8 hours. I can't begin to tell you how much fun it is... because it really isn't.

I'm most moved by The Housewife, Fathers and Sons and Joe. The first two make me think a lot about my parents. How much they both have worked hard for our family in their own way. The songs make me appreciate more the effort that they have made for my brother and I. The nostalgic quality of Joe's story really gets to me. I actually do tend to be a sentimental guy and the way Jim delivers the song touches me.

This has been a great experience for me. It's an incredibly talented ensemble to work with and I'm beyond grateful for the opportunity to be a part of it. In the middle of the rehearsal process I was hospitalized with a ruptured appendix which caused me to miss two weeks of rehearsal. I was worried that I would have a difficult time going back since the cast had all that time to bond with each other.

I had no reason to worry though, the cast welcomed me right back and helped me out while I was still unable to move around much. I really appreciate the extra effort they made for me. It was just another example of how well this ensemble works together. Again, I'm proud to be a part of it.
