Sharon
Lawson
Sharon is thrilled to be returning to Patio Playhouse where she
was last seen as Rose Kirk in Nuts. Local audiences may
also recall her performances as Beth in Dinner With Friends
(PowPAC), Judith Bliss in Hay Fever (OnStage Playhouse),
Charlotte Hay in Moon Over Buffalo (Coronado Playhouse),
and as Yente in CCT's 2002 production of Fiddler on the Roof.
Other favorite roles include Audrey in Little Shop of Horrors,
Roxie Hart in Chicago, Anna in The King and I,
the title role in Little Mary Sunshine, DeeDee in SUDS,
Lady Larkin in Once Upon a Mattress, Alice in My
Favorite Year, and Blanche in Brighton Beach Memoirs.
Professional experience includes productions of Gypsy
and Arsenic and Old Lace, various commercials and videos,
and a national tour of The Wizard of Oz.

Karen
Spafford
Karen is happy to return to Patio Playhouse. You may have seen
her last year in Light up the Sky and Run for your
Wife. She has performed in San Diego community theater for
over 13 years. Some of her favorite roles include Abigail Williams
in The Crucible, Violet Imbry in Play On, Susan
Hollander in Don’t Drink the Water, and Violet
Bick in It’s a Wonderful Life: the Musical. She
would like to thank her family for being so supportive and her
little puppy Sparky, who is the light of her life.

Blum
George is very pleased to make his debut at Patio Playhouse. He
has performed in a number of venues, including Poor Players, Lyceum
Theater, La Jolla Stage Company, 6th@Penn, Coronado Playhouse,
OnStage Playhouse, PowPAC, Chatterbox Theater, Vanguard Theater,
Crill Performance Center, and the Carlsbad Performing Arts Center.
Favorite plays have included Deathtrap (Sidney Bruhl),
Moon Over Buffalo, Macbeth, One Flew Over
the Cuckoo’s Nest, Hamlet, Taming of the
Shrew, Deadwood Desperadoes, Christmas Carol,
Verdict, Much Ado About Nothing, Sihanoukville
Inquiry, Eternal Reach, Merry Wives of Windsor,
Vesta, and Solid Gold Cadillac.

Peggy
Schneider
Peggy
has been seen at Theatrx, PowPAC, Scripps Ranch, a number of travel
commercials and even on the motion picture screen in Titanic,
but Patio Playhouse Community Theater is her home stage. Her favorite
roles since moving to Escondido in 1984 include Joanne in Vanities,
Tom in Sylvia and E.M. in Wit. Peggy serves
on the Patio Board as the Treasurer and General Manager. She also
serves on the ACT scholarship committee. She considers herself
extremely fortunate to have a “day” job that lets
her perform regularly as an Educator at the San Diego Zoo’s
Wild Animal Park. Her current focus is in the area of voice-acting.
She has featured character voices in the children’s CDs
Mr. Quizmee Asks About Animals and The Adventures
of Side Car Ole & Tazzmo.

Steve
Rowe
Born in Alaska but bred in the Midwest, Steve relocated to southern
California in the summer of 2003. He began working on stage in
1999 and has also appeared in several independent films. Steve
worked semi-professionally with a comedy improv group for nearly
five years. He has directed and produced several one-act plays.
Steve is thrilled to be making his fourth appearance at Patio
Playhouse and is honored to work with such a talented cast and
crew!

Christopher
DeArmond
This
is Christopher’s fourth appearance on stage with Patio Playhouse
and he is glad to be back! He was last seen as Boris Kolinkov
in You Can’t Take it With You. He would like to
thank Jim for this opportunity and especially Michelle for all
her patience with his time away from home. He would also like
to dedicate his performance to his daughter Xena, who is his inspiration
in life.

Daye
George is making his debut at Patio Playhouse in From Bed
to Worse.
He is currently enrolled at Palomar College and he plans to attend
UCLA to study film.
