Dirk is very proud to be part of this production, to be immersed in the moving story of the Frank family, and to be able to help tell Anne’s story afresh to this community. He recently played the role of Clem in Patio Playhouse’s Chicken Every Sunday, his first stage appearance since high school (1971)! He is having a wonderful time being back on stage again. He has directed 16 plays at Calvin Christian High School, where he teaches biology and physics. Dirk thanks his wife for her love and support of his return to acting. He thanks his three sons for inspiring him with their fine acting. And he thanks Calvin Christian’s Advanced Theater Company for their support and encouragement. Dirk says, with Anne, “God has not left me alone and will not leave me alone.” |
