Callbacks: Saturday Aug 14, 10 am- 1 pm

Performances: Nov 12-Dec 5,
Fridays and Saturdays at 8 pm and Sundays at 2 pm

Auditions and performances will be held at
Patio Playhouse
210 East Grand Avenue, Suite 1D
in downtown Escondido
(Entrance on Kalmia St. between Grand and 2 nd Avenue,
in the courtyard by the German deli)

Auditions will consist of cold readings from the script.

All roles open. This is a non-Equity production.

Truvy Jones—around 40, beauty shop owner in
Chinquapin, Louisiana

Annelle Dupuy-Desoto—late teens-early 20s, beauty shop assistant

Clairee Belcher—50s-60s, widow of the former mayor,
local grande dame

Shelby Eatenton-Latcherie—mid-20s, prettiest girl in town

M'Lynn Eatenton—late 40s-50s, Shelby's mother,
socially prominent career woman

Ouiser Boudreaux—60s, wealthy curmudgeon, witty
and acerbic but loveable
